Two Earthquakes Rattle Coachella Valley

Two moderate earthquakes rumbled through the Southern California area Saturday morning.

The USGS reports the first temblor hit at 10:30am, measuring 5.3 in magnitude. It was later revised to 4.9. It was centered in the same location as the 7.2 magnitude quake that rocked the region on Easter Sunday.

The second quake to hit Saturday measured 4.8 in magnitude.

Shaking from both could be felt all over the Coachella Valley, according to shake maps from the USGS.

There are no reports of any damage or injuries.
