110 Firefighters And Air Tankers Battle Fire In Cherry Valley
More than one-hundred firefighters and 4 air tankers are battling a fast-moving brush fire in Cherry Valley.
The fire broke out at 11am Wednesday near Bogart Park at Cherry Avenue and Dutton Street. Flames moved quickly, according to Cal Fire, and contained it by 2pm.
Full control is estimated by 8pm.
One inmate firefighter was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital for complaint of chest pain.
