‘Party Of Five’ Actor Kidnapped , Forced To Drive Around Palm Springs
Palm Springs police confirm that actor of “Party of Five,” Jeremy London, found himself in a bit of trouble last week in Palm Springs.
Police say London, 37, was trying to fix a flat tire on his car along N. Palm Canyon, when several men stopped to help him.
Afterward, he offered to give them a ride home. A short time later, police say he was held a gunpoint in the vehicle by one of the men, and forced him to drive to various locations throughout the city, purchase alcohol, and use illicit drugs.
London was eventually able to escape from the car, which the culprits stole. It was later found in the Gateway area of Palm Springs.
Brandon Adams, 26, of Palm Springs was arrested on Friday, June 11, according to police. He’s charged with kidnapping, possession of stolen property, and vehicle theft in connection with the case. Charges of carjacking and enhancements for the use of a firearm during the commission of a felony were added at his arraignment on Friday.
He is due in court again on June 24.
Adams is currently being held at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning in lieu of $500,000 bail. Detectives are continuing to investigate this case.
