Armed Robber Hits Coachella Market, Injuring Customer

Riverside County Sheriff’s investigators are trying to hunt down the man who robbed someone outside a market in Coachella Friday afternoon, armed with a handgun.

Police responded around 4:45pm Friday afternoon to the Carniceria Rancho Grande on Harrison Street in Coachella.

There, they found a man who had just cashed a check inside, who said he was robbed at gunpoint. He suffered a cut above his eye in a fight that ensued.

Authorities searched from the ground and the sky, and were not able to find the suspect. If you have any information, call police.
