KESQ Brings Home The Gold

The National Academy of Television Arts and Scieneces Pacific Southwest Chapter honored KESQ News Channel 3 with 6 Emmy Awards:

News anchor Karen Devine won an Emmy for Journalistic Enterpise. Editor Serkan Stage won for “On The Wings Of Freedom.” News anchor Jeff Stahl and Chief Photographer Christopher Flicker won an Emmy for their report on “Being Japanese in World War II America.” News reporter Cesar Rodriguez won for his report “IDL Lies.” News photographer Chris Tarpening for his report on “Amateur Boxing Matches in California Halted.” And, News Channel 3 HD Live at Five won an Emmy for Best Evening Newscast.

The awards ceremony took place on June 26, 2010 in San Diego.
