Indio Police Chase Ends With Arrest Of Suspected Car Thieves

Indio police apprehended two men, this morning, accused of driving a stolen car after a brief chase through the city.

A police spokesperson tells News Channel 3 an officer using an automatic license plate reader came upon a car that was reported stolen.

The officer pursued the car, which didn’t pull over, according to police. The pursuit traveled down Jackson Street, and the suspects bailed out of the car near the post office on Fargo Street.

Police were able to catch them, and both were arrested.
