$1.25 Million Worth Of Meth Seized In Calexico

U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Calexico inspection station reported the discovery of a large quantity of methamphetamine on Thursday.

At approximately 8 a.m., a silver truck driven by a 33-year-old male drove up to the primary inspection area of the Interstate 8 checkpoint. A Border Patrol canine team’s reaction sent the vehicle to the secondary inspection area.

During that search, agents discovered several packages concealed within the vehicle containing methamphetamine.

The driver, narcotics and vehicle were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
