Police Search For Palm Springs Bank Robbery Suspect

Palm Springs police were searching for a woman who allegedly held up a Bank of America branch on the 5600 block of Ramon Road near Gene Autry Trail.

The robbery happened around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday at the location inside the WalMart shopping center, according to Officer Rhonda Long.

Officers were looking for an older white woman, around 5 ft. 4 in. tall, gray hair, with a wide hat, possibly made of straw. She reportedly walked into the bank, demanded money from a teller, and got away with cash.

Police don’t know if she walked away from the bank, or if she drove.
