Palm Springs Pair To Provide Their Own Live Super Bowl Coverage

Tired of the traditional analysis given by former football pros during the Super Bowl, two young Palm Springs businessmen said they want to shake things up a bit with Super Bowl XLV.

Connor Norris and Richard Chapa, with Palm Springs-based BurkeMedia, claim they’re throwing the alternative to parties that aren’t fun anymore.

“Not invited to any Superbowl parties this year?,” the Norris was heard asking on the promotional video. “Your party not fun enough? Well, watch us at BurkeMedia watch the Superbowl Live!”

The two plan to webcast themselves watching the game on television at Nicolino’s Italian Restaurant. During the game, Norris and Chapa will provide the commentary, and so will anyone else watching the webcast through a flowing Twitter feed.

“It’s like being part of the best online party ever!,” he said. “While your HDTV is blowing up the game, turn on your desktops, laptops, iPads or mobile devices.”

The event, called “The Burke-off” kicks off at 2 p.m. on Sunday. You can watch live coverage of it online here.
