Two Arrested For Two T-Mobile Robberies

Two young men were in jail today on suspicion of robbing two T-mobile stores this month, according to the sheriff’s department.

Julio Marcos Aguilar, 20, and Jose Cruz Gutierrez, 23, both of Desert Hot Springs, were arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a T-Mobile Store in West Covina on Feb. 23.

Sheriff’s investigators suspect the two also robbed a T-Mobile store at 34-262 Monterey Avenue in Palm Desert Feb. 15, said Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputy Herlinda Valenzuela.

Sheriff’s investigators served three search warrants at residences in Desert Hot Springs and searched a residence in Cathedral City. They found cell phones believed to have been taken during the robberies, along with other evidence.

The suspects are also under investigation for other robberies in the area.
