‘Cupcake Wars’ Winners Want Franchise In Palm Springs
The winners of Food Network’s “Cupcake Wars” series will meet with city officials today to discuss bringing their franchise to Palm Springs.
Sisters Christie and Rebecca Grammer will meet with Palm Springs Mayor pro tem Lee Weigel at a potential new location at 101 S. Palm Canyon Drive at 9:30 a.m.
City spokeswoman Amy Blaisdell said the new location could become the center of a Food Network reality show based in Palm Springs.
The Grammers and Weigel will then tour another potential location, 155 Palm Canyon Drive, at 10:30 a.m.
At 3:15 p.m., the baking sisters will meet Palm Springs Mayor Steve Pougnet at City Hall to discuss the potential new cupcake locations.
