Indio Residents Get Chance To Win Concert Tickets

Residents of Indio have the opportunity to win free tickets to the annual Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals, a city spokesman announced today.

Registration began today for a raffle that will award 10 tickets to both the Coachella Music Festival and the Stagecoach Country Festival, said Jim Curtis of the city of Indio.

Residents can register either by filling out a form at City Hall or visiting the city’s website. The raffle will be held April 11 and winners will be notified by phone.

Curtis said a proof of residency will be required to receive the tickets, and only one registration is allowed per address for each event.

Coachella, which draws music enthusiasts from around the region and beyond, will be held April 15-17 at Indio’s Empire Polo Club. Acts such as The Strokes, Arcade Fire, Kings of Leon and Kanye West will headline the event.

Stagecoach will be held at the Empire Polo Club two weeks later, from April 30 to May 1. Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney and Rascal Flatts are among the scheduled performers.
