Palm Tree Grove Fire Prompts Help From Several Cities
Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage fire departments responded to a palm tree grove fire in Cathedral City on Friday.
The fire was reported shortly before noon at the El Dorado Palms Estates on the 67-500 block of E. Palm Canyon Drive.
When police arrived, they reportedly called for fire crews.
Twenty minutes later, crews from Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage arrived to put out the fire.
No one was injured, and there’s no estimate on damages.
