Indio Police Investigate Home Invasion Robbery

Indio police say three men wearing ski masks forced their way into a home in the 43,000 block of Freesia Place just before 7:30 p.m Saturday.

Officers say one of the men was armed and knocked on the door.

When the homeowner answered the door, police say the men rushed into the house.

Officers say a family of five was inside the home, including three children. The men ordered everybody to the floor and searched the house before taking off in the family’s 2003 black BMW 745.

The men abandoned the vehicle on the 81,300 block of Avenue 46 about a half hour later.

One man was hurt in the home invasion. He suffered minor injuries to his face.

Police are looking for three Hispanic men. They were all wearing all black clothing and ski masks at the time of the home invasion.
