Sig Alert Issued For I-10 Near Indio
It could take all day to clean up the mess left after a truck on Interstate 10 near Indio on Wednesday.
The fire, which was reported around 1 a.m. west of the Cactus City rest area and east of Indio, resulted in lane closures on the eastbound side of the freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol’s website.

California Department of Transportation workers closed the number-2 lane to continue clean up of the debris, while the slow lane remains open.
Motorists are advised to expect delays when traveling the 14 mile stretch eastbound on I-10 from Indio to Cactus City.
