Another 3.5 Quake Shakes Up East Valley

Another earthquake with a magnitude of 3.5 in intensity hit the Coachella Valley Saturday night.

The quake struck at 5:59 p.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey’s website.

It was centered 7 miles east, northeast of Coachella, 9 miles east of Indio and 27 miles east, southeast of Palm Springs.

Preliminary reports show it was felt as far as Palm Springs.

There were no reports of damage or injuries.

Another 3.5 quake hit at the same epicenter Friday morning around 9:00 a.m.
