Homebrewing Contest And Food Trucks To Hit Palm Springs

Brewers from around the region will gather for Palm Springs Craft Beer Conclave today.

About a dozen brewers from San Diego’s Stone and Karl Strauss, Riverside’s Inland Empire Brewing and Redlands’ Hangar 24 Craft Brewery are expected at Spa Resort Casino in downtown Palm Springs.

The summit will include a homebrewing contest, food trucks and four local bands. At 2 p.m., the winners of the brewing contest will be named.

Cliff Young, host of food show “Out to Eat” on KVCR, will host the event, which benefits the Rotary Club.

Adult admission is $30, and “designated driver” tickets are $10. Starting at 11 a.m., VIP admission is $50 and includes a souvenir glass. Tickets are available at www.craftbeerconclave.com.
