Firefighters battle Desert Hot Springs church fire
Eight engines have been sent to Grace Church in Desert Hot Springs after dispatchers received calls reporting smoke coming from the building.
Cal Fire confirms their crews are working a small fire in a bathroom at the church, which is located on the 17400 block of Bubbling Wells Road, south of Dillon Road.
The fire was first reported around 3:10 p.m. and when the fire crews arrived, theur found fire and smoke pouring out of one of the lavatories.
