Corona man dies in accident near Indio
A Corona man who died of injuries from a rollover crash near Desert Center was identified Wednesday.
Dennis Strong, 53, was injured in a crash shortly before 6 a.m. Sunday on Chuckwalla Valley Road, about five miles east of Corn Springs Road in an unincorporated area of Riverside County, according to authorities. He swerved to avoid an animal on the road and lost control of his Jeep, which rolled over, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
Strong died Monday at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs.
