Inland Empire gas prices rise slightly

The average price of a gasoline in the Inland Empire rose today for the sixth consecutive day, increasing two-tenths to $4.115 for gallon of self-serve regular, its highest amount since June 9.
The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is 1.4 cents more than a week ago, 32.2 cents higher than one month ago and 34.6 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price has increased 1.8 cents over the past six days, including one-tenth of a cent on Monday.
