You could be a Mega Millions winner !
On March 27th, nine MEGA Millions tickets matched five out of six numbers to win $308,573 each. Fast-forward to today, and we’re suddenly only a week away from two of those nine tickets expiring.
The two unclaimed tickets were sold at the 7-Eleven located at 7014 Archibald Avenue in Corona (Riverside County) and at the Arco ampm located at 3890 North University Parkway in San Bernardino (San Bernardino County).
The California Lottery has instituted a new policy to help identify winners of unclaimed prizes worth more than $250,000 by publishing photos of winners shortly before their tickets are scheduled to expire. However, the two wins above are dated well before the policy was adopted, therefore no photos are available of the two winners.
The winning numbers for the March 27th draw were 19, 44, 34, 9, 51 and a Mega number of 24.
Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim prizes. Both tickets are set to expire on Monday, September 24th at 5:00 p.m. All unclaimed lottery money goes toward education.
The California Lottery reminds winners to sign the back of their ticket, keep tickets in a safe place and contact Lottery officials or visit their local Lottery District Office as soon as possible.
