Coachella man arrested after selling stolen Date festival tickets

Police have arrested a 19 year-old Coachella man in connection with selling stolen Date Festival tickets.

Noel Aguilar was arrested when deputies followed leads to the break-in, which happened last Sunday.

The arrest was Friday night at 46275 Clinton Street, Riverside County sheriff’s Lt. Matthew Martello said.

About $45,000 worth of tickets to the festival, as well as wrist bands, were recovered. But the amount of money Aguilar is suspected of making through the sale of the stolen tickets was not disclosed.

Aguilar was booked for suspicion of first degree burglary and receiving stolen property, online jail records read.

He remained behind bars today in lieu of $35,000 bail.
