Six arrested in Jurupa Valley pot bust

Riverside County Sheriff’s Department arrested six people in Friday for the cultivation of marijuana in Jurupa Valley.

Deputies received a tip that someone was growing marijuana illegally in a residential neighborhood.

After an investigation deputies obtained a search warrant. Over five hundred marijuana plants were seized, along with seventeen pounds of processed marijuana, one firearm, a large quantity of ammunition and evidence related to sales of marijuana.

All six suspects at the residence were arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center and have been identified as: Fred Hamann, 63-year-old resident of Jurupa Valley, Daniel Sagon, 32-year-old resident of Jurupa Valley, Armando Alvarez, 51-year-old resident of La Mirada, Justin Armijo, 25-year-old resident of Pomona, David Armijo, 27-year-old resident of Ontario, and George Bland, 51-year-old resident of Whittier,
