Marine dies during training exercise at Twentynine Palms Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center
Private First Class Casey J. Holmes died Monday during an Integrated Training Exercise at the Twentynine Palms Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center.
Holmes,20, from Chico, Calif.,enlisted in the Marine Corps in May 2012 and joined 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment at Marine Corps Base Hawaii in October 2012.
His personal decorations include the National Defense Service Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
The incident is currently under investigation.
