Police investigating gunshots fired from car in Palm Springs
Police today were investigating gunshots that wereapparently fired from a vehicle in downtown Palm Springs.
Police officers heard several shots fired near Indian Canyon Drive andAndreas Road about 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sgt. Melissa Desmarais said.
“Evidence discovered at the scene indicates that several undisclosedcaliber rounds were fired from a vehicle, described by witnesses as a silver orgray newer-model SUV,” Desmarais said.
Police couldn’t find victims or what the suspect may have been shootingat, she said.
