Road repair closes parts of Highway 74 in Palm Desert and Idyllwild

Parts of State Route 74 in the Palm Desert and Idyllwild areas will be closed this week for paving work, according to Caltrans.

One-way closures on eastbound and westbound 74 are planned from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., Tuesday through Saturday from Pinyon Drive to Cahuilla Way and Hurkey Creek to Morris Ranch Road.

Asphalt will be laid and road repairs will be made, according to Caltrans.
