Mountain Fire visible from Palm Springs
While the glow and flames can be seen from areas of Palm Springs and Desert Hot Springs, fire officials say the Valley cities are not in any immediate danger from the fire.
The Riverside County Sheriff did issue an evacuation notice for the Idyllwild and Fern Valley area earlier in the evening.
