Palm Springs Tramway to reopen Tuesday

The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is scheduled to reopen tomorrow, July 23, 2013 after being closed for five days due to smoke from the Mountain Fire.

The Mount San Jacinto State Park and Wilderness Area remain closed for additional evaluations.

“We are grateful to the firefighters for their quick response and hard work in getting this fire under control,” said Rob W. Parkins, Tramway General Manager.

The first Tram up will be at 10 am.
