Riverside County man held for dating website holdups

A Southern California man has been arrested on suspicion of robbing men he lured through a dating website.

Twenty-year-old Gary Glen House of Perris was arrested Monday. He remains jailed.

The Riverside Press-Enterprise says that House allegedly used a woman’s photo to create a fake profile on a dating website, then robbed three men who arranged meetings in Perris.

One man was pistol-whipped.

Authorities say a fourth man arranged a meeting on Sunday but ran off when the gunman approached and contacted authorities.
