Sex offender arrested during sweep

A convicted sex offender was arrested in San Jacinto for failing to register all of his home addresses with the sheriff’s office, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

Jason Warrick, 42, was one of two offenders sheriff’s deputies did not find Saturday during a compliance check at 18 locations in San Jacinto, the sheriff’s department reported.

Deputies were checking if the convicted sex offenders complied with the court-ordered requirement that they register their home addresses with local authorities.

Warrick, who has a home in Moreno Valley, was found at an undisclosed location in San Jacinto. The other person sheriff’s deputies did not find during the sweep may have moved or was not at home, the sheriff’s department reported.
