Winning ticket sold in Wednesday’s Powerball lottery drawing

There’s a new millionaire in southern California.

A ticket with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, in Wednesday’s multi-state Powerball lottery drawing was sold at a 7-Eleven in El Segundo.

It’s worth nearly 1.5 million dollars.

A ticket with all six numbers was sold at a gasoline station in the bay area, in Milpitas, and is worth $425 million.

Lottery officials said the ticket was sold at Dixon Landing Chevron in Milpitas, 10 miles north of San Jose.

There was no immediate word on who may have won the sixth largest lottery jackpots in U.S. History.

The numbers drawn were 1, 17, 35, 49, 54 and the Powerball number was 34.
