Palm Springs road closures announced for Saturday’s parade

Some road closures will be in place Saturday during the 27th Annual Black History Parade.

According to the Palm Springs Black History Committee, both lanes of Alejo Road will be closed from Indian Canyon Drive to Palm Canyon Drive from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Palm Canyon Drive will also be closed from Alejo Road to Baristo Road from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The committee said the parade will start at 11 a.m. on Palm Canyon Drive at Arenas Road and ends at Alejo Road.

If you have plans of driving downtown, you should plan accordingly to avoid road closures throughout the day.
