4 arrested for selling heroin, meth

The Coachella Valley Narcotics Task Force arrested four people after a search warrant uncovered methamphetamine, heroin and stolen guns.

The bust was made on Thursday afternoon on the 57000 block of Desert Cactus Drive in an unincorporated area of Thermal.

Authorities arrested:

Brenda Felix, age 20
Eriberto Felix, age 18
Leon Cleofas Jr., age 24
Elizabeth Martinez, age 18

When the search warrant was served, officers found meth, heroin, a stolen 12-guage shotgun and a stolen handgun. An unknown amount of money was also seized, police said in a statement.

Two children under 4 years old were removed from the home by Child Protective Services.

The Palm Springs Narcotics Task Force assisted in the arrests.

All four suspects were taken to the Riverside County Jail for possession of methamphetamine and heroin for sales, possession of stolen firearms and child endangerment.
