Ritz-Carlton set to hire 200 employees

The Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage has begun accepting applications to fill 200 positions.

The resort has openings in Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Culinary and Front Office and Guest Services, officials said in a release on Friday.

If you’re interested in applying for a job, an online application is required to start the process. If you don’t have access to the internet, the Rancho Mirage Library will issue a pass for you to use its computer station.

The library, located at 71100 Hwy 111, is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It’s open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday. It’s closed on Sunday.

The Ritz-Carlton will staff most of the new positions over the next eight weeks, which will be followed by an extensive employee orientation and training program, officials said.

The hotel has been named by Training Magazine as the #1 employee training company in the world, according to management.

The resort is scheduled to open on May, 15.
