Amber Alert over, suspect taken into custody

An Amber Alert is over in Long Beach and a 12 year old boy is safe after the U.S. Marshal’s fugitive task force located the missing boy on Monday afternoon.

Nicholas Johnson, 12, was abducted around 1 p.m. by Sri Johnston, according the the California Highway Patrol.

The suspect was found at 2:40 p.m. and was taken into custody.

Authorities issued an Amber Alert describing the suspect’s vehicle, a tan, four-door ’98 Saturn.

Police haven’t released any additional information regarding the abduction at this time.
