Fireworks display could scare pets in Palm Desert
A private fireworks display scheduled for Monday night in southwest Palm Desert could cause some concerns for pet owners.
The event takes place at Bighorn Golf Club around 9:30 p.m. The 15-minute fireworks display might disturb pets in the area.
The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals suggests keeping dogs and cats at home, in a quiet, sheltered, and escape-proof area during the fireworks display.
The City of Palm Desert encourages residents in the area to protect their pets by following the SPCA’s advice.
Bighorn Golf Club is located at 255 Palowet Drive.
