The Riverside County Coroner’s Office identified the man as 50 year-old Carlos Estrada. Officials said the crash happened at the intersection of SR 371 and Homestead Road in Anza.

Estrada was taken to Inland Valley Medical Center but died a few hours later from his injuries, according to the coroner’s office.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash; no additional information has been released.
