Neighbor helps contain house fire in Palm Springs
A house fire in Palm Springs was under control Thursday morning with some help from a quick-to-respond neighbor, according to a viewer who called News Channel 3 and CBS Local 2.
The fire ignited around 10:30 a.m. at 1173 Via Escuela.
The man who lived by the house tried to contain the fire himself from the backyard, and then called emergency response.
The Palm Springs Fire Department quickly arrived to finish the job. There’s no immediate word on the cause of the fire or the extent of the damage.
