Suspect named in shooting outside Zelda’s Nightclub

The Palm Springs Police Department has identified a suspect in the shooting outside of Zelda’s Nightclub.

Authorities are searching for 30-year-old Sheldon Alfred Auclair Jr. His last known address was in Thermal.

He’s wanted on charges of attempted murder after an employee of Zelda’s was shot in the parking lot at 611 South Palm Canyon Drive on April 18.

“The guy just pulled out a gun and shot him,” said the brother of the victim, who did not want to give his identity. ” It was as simple as that.”

Brother of Zelda’s shooting victim speaks out

The 35-year-old victim was immediately taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. His brother told News Channel 3 and CBS Local 2 that he’s undergone multiple surgeries. He’s still recovering.
