Pedestrian identified after deadly collision in Cabazon

The man who was killed after being hit by two vehicles in Cabazon Friday night has been identified by the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.

Jimmie Fisher, 35, was jaywalking near Railroad Avenue and Main Street shortly after 8:30 p.m. when he was hit by car, according to the sheriff’s department. He then landed on the side of the road where he was hit by a pickup truck.

Deputies said the driver of the pickup truck didn’t stop. It’s described as a 2002 Dodge Ram.

The crash is still under investigation.
