Palm Springs theater kicks off “Dinner and a Movie” series

Camelot Theatres in Palm Springs kicked off its new “Dinner and a Movie” film series with “Jaws” Saturday.

Screenings will be every Saturday at 9:30 p.m. Attendees can enjoy dinner and drinks at the theater’s cafe and bar starting at 7 p.m.

Each week, the chef will create a $15 fixed-price menu and drinks to match the movie, according to theater spokesman Michael Green.

Other films in Camelot’s series include “Caddyshack,” “Tootsie,” “The Breakfast Club,” “The Princess Bride,” “Top Gun,” “Raiders of the
Lost Ark” and “Dirty Dancing.”
