Police have arrested a Thermal man in connection to a shooting that occurred outside Zelda’s nightclub in Palm Springs over four months ago.

The shooting happened on April 18 around 12:50 a.m.

The victim was an employee of Zelda’s. His brother, who wanted to remain anonymous, spoke to KESQ and CBS Local 2 in May. He told us his brother was shot in the stomach and the bullet traveled all the way through his body. He had to undergo multiple surgeries to recover from the wound.

“The guy just pulled out a gun and shot him, it was as simple as that,” he said.

Auclair Jr. was booked into the Riverside County Jail on charges of attempted murder.
