Flash Flood Warning issued for parts of Coachella Valley including La Quinta and Indian Wells
The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for the extreme southwestern portion of the Coachella Valley until Sunday at 2 pm. This includes La Quinta, Indian Wells, Highway 86, Oasis and Highway 74.
Around 11 am Sunday, a strong thunderstorm cell was nearly stationary over the Santa Rosa Mountains and could potentially produce flash flooding on the valley floor.
