Sun City power outage most of the day Saturday
A transformer problem caused a predawn blackout Saturday in a Sun City neighborhood and affected 168 customers.
The outage was reported at 12:25 a.m. and affected Buena Tierra near Park Avenue, according to the Southern California Edison’s website.
Several homes were still without electrical service by 3:00 p.m.. Work crews are expected to restore power by late afternoon for the remaining customers, SCE spokeswoman Maureen Brown said.
