‘Get Out the Vote’ Coachella Valley

Some people in the east Coachella Valley are working to get out the Latino vote.

Non-partisan volunteers from local organizations gathered outside Our Lady Soledad in Coachella to kick-off the “Get Out the Vote” campaign Tuesday.

The California Partnership said only 20 percent of eligible voters are registered in the east Coachella Valley and only half of them will vote.

You can pick-up a voter registration form at libraries, city and county offices or the post office. You can also register online.
