Southern California Energy Summit takes place this weekend

The Southern California Energy Summit is being held in Palm Springs this weekend. Panelists will be presenting ‘The Great Energy Debate: Beyond 33% & the Future of the Salton Sea’.

The Energy Summit will be held on Saturday, October 10 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Palm Springs Convention Center, located at 277 N. Avenida Caballeros.

There will also be a Green Building Bus Tour and Salton Sea Forum taking place at the Coachella Valley iHub Health and Medical Innovation Center on Friday, October 9. Those events will run from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Officials said the Southern California Energy Summit is the preeminent forum bringing industry and community leaders together to discuss trends, advocate for clean energy issues and highlight the region as the epicenter for renewable energy. #SCE2014 will feature a blend of educational sessions, keynote presentations, and panel discussions from a wide array of experts.
