Christopher Lee will go to trial accused of killing Erin Corwin
Christopher Brandon Lee, accused in the murder of Erin Corwin is being held over for trial after a judge in Joshua Tree ruled there was enough evidence to proceed to trial.
Lee was in court today, as several witnesses were called to the stand by the prosecution to lay out their case against the former marine. The first witness called to the stand Thursday was the husband of Erin Corwin, John Corwin.
Several friends and investigators on the case were also called to testify at Thursday’s preliminary hearing. The Defense did not call any witnesses or present any evidence according to court documents.
Corwin went missing in late June, her body was discovered in a mine near Joshua Tree two months later.
Lee will be back in court on April 22nd for his post prelim arraignment, and to start the process of setting an official trial date.
