Deputies investigate shooting near Desert Hot Springs
Sheriff deputies are on scene investigating a shooting that occurred early Friday morning near Desert Hot Springs says Riverside County Sheriff’s Spokesman Deputy Armando Munoz.
According to Munoz, they got a call just after 6:45 a.m. that a man was shot on the 16-000 block of Avenida Ramada. When deputies arrived, they found the man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening wounds.
Later in the morning, the S.W.A.T. team was called in to help with the investigation.
No arrests, no suspect information, and no word on a possible motive. The Sheriff’s Department says it is still an active investigation.
