Pedestrian crash sends woman to the hospital

Riverside County Sheriff's Deputies and Cal Fire responded to a pedestrian crash in Palm Desert this morning.

Authorities say a car hit the woman who was walking on Country Club Drive and Washington Street just after 4:00 a.m.

The victim suffered a broken arm and abrasions to her left arm and left shoulder. She is in stable condition and undergoing further testing at a local hospital. 

The driver remained on the scene and cooperated with authorities.

Additional details have not been released.
