Lanes reopen on I-10 following big rig crash

Traffic is running smoothly once again on eastbound I-10 after a big rig and SUV collided Wednesday morning just east of Dillon Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened just before 8:50 a.m. The big rig was blocking the No. 1 lane until officers were able to clear it from the interstate around 10:15 a.m.

Preliminary information from the CHP states a white Ford Escape was involved in the crash. There’s no word on injuries at this time.

News Channel 3 and CBS Local 2 is working to get more information and we’ll post updated information as soon as we hear back from authorities.
